Creating a large library of images for a large multi-site manufacturer

Some businesses are big & have many moving parts which all need their own specific imagery.

this is where my broad experience really pays off for the marketing team.

For a business as large and continually evolving as GA Pet Food, photography isn't a one-off project – it's an ongoing investment in the brand.

Working across multiple manufacturing and distribution sites over several years, I've built a detailed understanding of how the business operates, from robotic ingredient handling and food production to packaging, warehousing, logistics and international sales.

As new products are launched, facilities expand and manufacturing processes develop, the company needs a constantly refreshed library of photography that accurately reflects where the business is today while supporting its future growth.

Every photography session begins with detailed planning alongside the marketing team. Together we develop a brief covering the areas that need updating, whether that's production, people, executive portraits, warehouse operations, products or aerial drone photography of the sites as they continue to expand.

Working within a live manufacturing environment means being efficient, flexible and unobtrusive. Equipment is carefully selected to remain lightweight and portable, allowing me to move quickly between locations without disrupting production or compromising safety, while still producing high-quality imagery across a wide variety of subjects during each shoot day.

The result is a growing image library that supports everything from marketing campaigns and recruitment to internal communications, customer tours, magazines and international sales material.

The success of this partnership comes from understanding the business as well as understanding photography. By working closely with the marketing team and listening to where the company wants to go, every shoot adds value to an already extensive image library rather than simply replacing existing photographs.

Alongside creating images for individual campaigns and events, each session strengthens a consistent visual style that runs throughout the business, helping GA Pet Food communicate its scale, innovation and expertise with confidence.

It's this collaborative, long-term approach that ensures every new photograph has a purpose and continues to support the brand as it grows and evolves.
