Case Study:
Creating Consistent Visual Stories For a World-Leading Institution
How long-term collaboration and a multi-disciplinary approach helps create consistent imagery for the world's No. 1 architecture school.
Large educational institutions face a complex communication challenge. They need to promote multiple courses, departments, research projects, facilities and events while speaking to prospective students, industry partners, alumni and the wider public. The risk is often a fragmented collection of images that lacks consistency and fails to reflect the true character of the institution.
My long-standing partnership with The Bartlett School of Architecture at UCL demonstrates the value of a multi-disciplinary photography approach.
Working closely with marketing teams, academic staff and event organisers, I create photography that captures everything from lectures, exhibitions and student life to staff portraits, architectural projects, facilities and VIP visits.
Because I understand the institution and its objectives, I can deliver carefully curated image libraries that provide both consistency and variety. This allows the communications team to draw on a reliable collection of photography that works across websites, social media, prospectuses, brochures, course guides and promotional campaigns while maintaining a strong and authentic brand identity.
