Do I own the images ?
When you commission me for a photoshoot, the images I take remain my copyright, meaning I still own them.
However, what I provide to you is a usage license, which gives you the rights to use the images in a way that’s tailored to your needs—this is both flexible and cost-effective.
For example, the most popular uses (a general use license) are for all direct business related content: images for your website, product pages, social media, brochures, annual report, press releases, banners, physical media, with use worldwide in perpetuity. A license for all this use is included in my fee. This way, you have exclusive use of the images for your marketing purposes without paying for unnecessary extras.
Where it can get more expensive is if you plan to use the images in large-scale advertising campaigns, especially with significant budgets or for a long period. In those cases, additional licensing fees apply because the usage is much broader and more commercially valuable.
But for most businesses, a general use license will more than cover what you need—allowing you to use the images across your platforms without incurring the higher costs associated with advertising. If, at any point, you wanted to fully own the images, meaning you could sell or re-license them yourself, we could negotiate the sale of the copyright, but that would come at a higher fee.
This approach ensures you’re getting exactly what you need at the best possible rate, without paying for rights or uses that aren't necessary for your specific project.

Was are the benefits of you being specialising in multiple photographic disciplines
Having multiple specialisations means I can approach your business from various angles. Whether it's capturing the essence of your workspace, showcasing products, or highlighting corporate events, I provide tailored photography services that align with your specific needs. This flexibility ensures that your visual content remains consistent and professional across all aspects of your brand.
A great example of this was when working with one of my regular clients WWF (World Wildlife Fund). They had just completed their new headquarters, the greenest building in Europe and they needed it to be photographed. As one of my specialities is architectural photography this was no problem. In addition to this though they also needed photos of staff working in the building (natural lifestyle portraits) using lighting in various areas around the building.Launch of an educational area with invited school children and the designer ,so portraits, documentary and set up shots. The new WWF International secretary was going to be on site so a good opportunity to get a range of portraits of him with different building backgrounds, followed by a mini conference, opening event with high profile guest and ambassadors to photograph. This was organised and shot over three days.
Non of this was a problem as my broad specialisations meant I could provide them with all of the images of every aspect to a high quality that fitted in with their brand style which incidentally I had created for them over several years covering the diverse nature of their work.
Without my broad collection of specialisations they would have need to hire An architectural photographer, a portrait photographer, a marketing lifestyle photographer and an events photographer.
That's four briefs, four contracts, four lots or organisation but they knew I am very capable of working on the whole project for them. Brief understood, consistency and speed of work in tight time frames and excellent brand specific results.
This is why businesses and organisations need a photographer that has multiple specialisms and that's what can do for you.
