A new play by Tim Baker 'The spirit of the Mimosa' for Clwyd Theatr Cymru Theatre for young people. 7th june-1st July 2011...A new play by Tim Baker based on the increadible story of the most famous Welsh migration of 167 men ad women to Patagonia in 1865. Against huge odds and desperate conditions these brave migrants travelled over 7000miles on the Clipper ship The Mimosa witha all of their belongings to create a welsh speaking community which still exists and thrives today...All images copyright Richard Stonehouse, Stoehouse Photographic.
