I. Initial consultation to kick things off

First, we’ll schedule a call at a time that suits you best. During this initial consultation, we’ll discuss the project, your specific needs, deliverables, logistics, and how the images will be used. This will allow me to provide you with no-obligation quote.

II. Deepening the brief for clarity

If you’re happy with the quote and would like to proceed, we can arrange further chats to dig deeper into the brief. We’ll ensure every detail is covered, helping me understand your vision so we can create images that perfectly fit your brand’s style.

III. Take photos

Before the shoot, I’ll do any necessary research and come prepared with all the equipment needed for the day. On-site, I’ll follow the agreed brief and work with you to make sure everything looks just right. If anything changes on the day, I’ll adjust easily to keep things running smoothly, capturing all the key shots and more.

IV. Delivery of your images

After the shoot, I’ll carefully edit and select the best images, processing them to meet your specific needs. Once ready, I’ll send you a download link to access your gallery of images, fully licensed for the uses we discussed during the briefing. Simple and hassle-free!

Do I own the images ?

When you commission me for a photoshoot, the images I take remain my copyright, meaning I still own them.

However, what I provide to you is a usage license, which gives you the rights to use the images in a way that’s tailored to your needs—this is both flexible and cost-effective.

For example, the most popular uses (a general use license) are for all direct business related content: images for your website, product pages, social media, brochures, annual report, press releases, banners, physical media, with use worldwide in perpetuity. A license for all this use is included in my fee. This way, you have exclusive use of the images for your marketing purposes without paying for unnecessary extras.

Where it can get more expensive is if you plan to use the images in large-scale advertising campaigns, especially with significant budgets or for a long period. In those cases, additional licensing fees apply because the usage is much broader and more commercially valuable.

But for most businesses, a general use license will more than cover what you need—allowing you to use the images across your platforms without incurring the higher costs associated with advertising. If, at any point, you wanted to fully own the images, meaning you could sell or re-license them yourself, we could negotiate the sale of the copyright, but that would come at a higher fee.

This approach ensures you’re getting exactly what you need at the best possible rate, without paying for rights or uses that aren't necessary for your specific project.

Was are the benefits of you being specialising in multiple photographic disciplines

Having multiple specialisations means I can approach your business from various angles. Whether it's capturing the essence of your workspace, showcasing products, or highlighting corporate events, I provide tailored photography services that align with your specific needs. This flexibility ensures that your visual content remains consistent and professional across all aspects of your brand.

A great example of this was when working with one of my regular clients WWF (World Wildlife Fund). They had just completed their new headquarters, the greenest building in Europe and they needed it to be photographed. As one of my specialities is architectural photography this was no problem. In addition to this though they also needed photos of staff working in the building (natural lifestyle portraits) using lighting in various areas around the building.Launch of an educational area with invited school children and the designer ,so portraits, documentary and set up shots. The new WWF International secretary was going to be on site so a good opportunity to get a range of portraits of him with different building backgrounds, followed by a mini conference, opening event with high profile guest and ambassadors to photograph. This was organised and shot over three days.

Non of this was a problem as my broad specialisations meant I could provide them with all of the images of every aspect to a high quality that fitted in with their brand style which incidentally I had created for them over several years covering the diverse nature of their work.

Without my broad collection of specialisations they would have need to hire An architectural photographer, a portrait photographer, a marketing lifestyle photographer and an events photographer.

That's four briefs, four contracts, four lots or organisation but they knew I am very capable of working on the whole project for them. Brief understood, consistency and speed of work in tight time frames and excellent brand specific results.

This is why businesses and organisations need a photographer that has multiple specialisms and that's what can do for you.

Commercial, Conference & Event Photographer London

Creating great commercial photography for business and organisations across the region

London: A Global City of Opportunity and Diversity

As a commercial photographer, I have had the pleasure of collaborating with a diverse range of clients across London for over 28 years, helping them capture the essence of their brands and showcasing the incredible talent that thrives in the city. From documenting corporate events and conferences to creating stunning images of products and services, my work reflects the dynamic spirit of London.

One of my longest clients is UCL Bartlett School of Architecture and the built environment, bit of a mouthful but it is the number 1 architecture school in the world. I have now been working with their comms team for over 20 years. I started helping students photograph their architectural models and quickly spotted by the comms team and asked to photograph their main summer show.

The Bartlett is renowned for it's conceptual approach but as my degree was fine art photography I'm fully aware and understand and appreciate this so my understanding helps with photographing the work and working both with staff and students. Enabling me to create images that resonate with the designers and show the key elements of their work to the highest degree.

As I also understand more commercial needs I have the perfect combination of both side enabling me to continue to work with the Bartlett and the UCL photographing staff portraits, student life, buildings, art , events, awards, parties etc. As I say I'm a full service photographer so I am able to cover every element that might be require, no fuss, quick to understand what is required and always go above and beyond.

I focus on delivering a personalised experience for my clients. By taking the time to listen and understand their unique needs, I ensure that the images I create align with their vision and effectively communicate their brand message. Whether for use on websites, social media, annual reports, or press releases, I produce high-quality visuals that resonate with audiences.

London’s vibrancy and creativity inspire me, and I love working with organisations of all sizes. Whether it’s capturing impactful headshots in iconic locations, documenting engaging lifestyle shots at events, or producing dynamic imagery that tells a brand's story, I am always excited to meet new clients and help them achieve their commercial photography goals.

In a city where every corner holds a story, my photography aims to showcase the heart and soul of London, celebrating the people, the places, and the passion that make this city truly extraordinary.

London, the capital of the United Kingdom, is a bustling metropolis renowned for its rich history, diverse culture, and vibrant economy. With a population of over 9 million people, the city is a melting pot of cultures, offering a unique blend of experiences that make it a fantastic place to live, work, and visit.

Historically, London has been a center of trade, finance, and culture for centuries. Its iconic landmarks, such as the Tower of London, Buckingham Palace, and the British Museum, showcase its deep-rooted heritage while modern architectural marvels like The Shard and the Gherkin highlight its innovative spirit. The city’s historic neighborhoods, from the cobbled streets of Covent Garden to the vibrant markets of Camden, each tell their own unique stories.

London's economy is one of the largest in the world, driven by industries such as finance, technology, media, and tourism. The city is home to numerous multinational corporations and startups alike, making it an attractive destination for entrepreneurs and businesses seeking growth opportunities. The extensive public transport network ensures easy access to clients and markets, further enhancing its appeal as a business hub.

I regularly work in London for various organisations, often as conference photographer and event photographer for shoots in the House's of Parliament for various charity events. Another one of my specialities from my press days is working with MP's so it makes me a great option if you need someone who knows how to work with this level of subject professionally.

If you need any help as a business or organisation in London with events, conferences, press, pr, portraits of marketing I'm a great go to photographer. Just get in touch, I'm always happy to meet new people.
