Richard Stonehouse is a photographer whose unique approach to any subject has seen his images regularly published nationally and internationally. In 1994, after gaining an honours degree in fine art photography, he began work in London for the highly respected photographic agency Camera Press. In 2002 he became their Chief Photographer. At the end of 2008 Richard left Camera Press to go freelance and relocated to Shropshire with his young family.

Richard is experienced in a wide variety of subjects from theatre, the arts and fashion to PR events, social photography and corporate work, bringing his own innovative style to portraits, features, food, product and lifestyle photography. In recent years he has become a sort after Conference photographer and Event Photographer working internationally. Also specialising incommercial and industrial photography including interior and architectural photography also producing innovative images that breathe life into architectural models.

With a base in London and Reading, he is now able to still work in London and also cover the North West (Manchester, Liverpool, Chester, Cheshire, Wirral, Lancashire, Merseyside) the Midlands (Birmingham, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire, Worcestershire, West Midlands, Herefordshire, Telford and Wrekin) and North Wales (Wrexham, Powys, Gwynedd, Denbighire, Flintshire, Conwy).
